Bardiya National Park is the largest national park of Nepal which is situated in Terai region of Nepal covering an area of 968 square kilometers. This park is covered with sub-tropical jungles and whispering grasslands bordering Babai River in the east and Karnali River in western side in Bardia district. Bardia is the famous place for tour in Nepal for its Jungle adventure and cultural activities. More than 53 mammals, 407 species of birds, 125 species of fish, and 23 species of reptiles are found in Bardiya National Park.
Combine it with white-water rafting in the longest river of Nepal, Karnali, where you could even spot dolphins or gharial on a lucky day. And meet the charming Rana Tharu and Dangora people of southern Nepal to know more about their culture.
Our Bardiya tour begins with sightseeing tour in Kathmandu valley which is enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next day, we take a short and scenic early morning flights towards Nepalgunj. Then we take 2 hours drive about 91 km towards Bardiya National Park. Then next couples of days we will spend on Bardiya National Park exploring cultural, traditional and primitive lifestyle of local people, and experience different activities with full of enjoyments. After completed Bardiya trip we take a short drive to Nepalgunj to catch our flight back to Kathmandu.
Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel On your arrival at Kathmandu airport, our tour representative receives you. You will be then transferred to a hotel.
Kathmandu valley sightseeing Our day starts after having breakfast for sightseeing tour along with a city guide around Kathmandu which are enlisted in World Heritage Sites in UNESCO including Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swyambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) and Kathmandu Durbar square.
Fly to Nepalgunj and drive to Bardia. Our day begins with the early morning flight towards the beautiful city Nepalgunj. Then we drive about 91 km through our private vehicle towards Bardiya National Park. After 2 hours drive on our private vehicle we check in towards our hotel. Then we spend our rest of the day discovering the Tharu lifestyle, traditions and their culture. We will also experience the colorful Tharu culture dance, traditional customs and music. Overnight stay at hotel.
Full day activities on Bardiya National Park After breakfast you'll explore the park on a 1-hour elephant ride. You'll also take in the visitor center, the crocodile breeding center, and the Tharu cultural museum. After lunch you'll go on a jungle walk, which is an excellent opportunity to see wild animals, small mammals, and birds in the company of an experienced naturalist and a wildlife tracker.
Tiger tracking ,Bird watching and sightseeing This morning's activities include tiger tracking and bird watching. You'll be on the lookout for the Royal Bengal tiger as well as the enormous varieties of birds found in Bardia. Visit Karnali River for Dolphin sightseeing.
Fly back to Kathmandu We take an early flight to Kathmandu from Nepalgunj airport. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will be then transferred to a hotel. After fresh up free for leisure activities and relax or just walk around on your own to explore Thamel city. Farewell Dinner in the Evening.
