Nepal is one of the richest countries in the world. It is landlocked country. It is located between Tibet autonomous region of People’s Republic of China in the North and India in the South. The Nepal total land area is 1,47,181 sq.km. Nearly one-third of the total length of the Himalayas and 8 of the worlds 14 highest peak are in Nepal which occupied the 25 flowering plants,85 more than 848 species of birds,4%mamals,11%worlds 15 families of butter flies,600 indigenous plant families.

Bouddhanath:

The Boudhanath is one of the larges stupas in the world and as important Buddhist pilgrimages Today.It is another UNESCO Heritage Site. Swayambhunath:

It is one of the holiest places for Buddhist located west city center of Kathmandu valley. This stupa can be reached by 400 steps.From the Swayambhunath you can see any point of the valley after reach to the top you will view the beautiful scenario of Kathmandu Valley along with its shape and structure.

 

Pashupatinath:

Pashupatinath is also known as the famous and holiest hindu pilgrimage shrines in Nepal. It is the golden roof temple situated on the banks of Bagmati River around 5 kms from the downtown, If you go inside the Temple it is very old. You can see old structure,monuents as well as silver plated gateways over there. You will also get the statue of God Shiva in pashupati who is also know as the powerful god. In the Festival of Nepal i.e. Shivaratri thousand of domestic and International devotees gather in this temple.

 

Nagarkot:

Nagarkokt is a popular tourist resort of Nepal. It is situated 32 kms east of Kathmandu which will take around 1-2 hours The panorama of the major peaks of eastern Nepal Himalayas including Mt.Everest can be seen from here. The perfect and nearest destination from Kathmandu to observe spectacular sunrise and sunset view over from that height. Pokhara is a natural valley full of lakes, green hills, forests & wildlife and Himalayas. There are as many as half a dozen lakes in Pokhara. Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake and Rupa Lake are three of the most popular and highly visited lakes in Pokhara. Boating, swimming, fishing, running and hiking are some of activities undertaken in and around the lakes. 

Pokhara Valley offers spectacular views of the tallest mountains including Mt. Fishtail, Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt. Annapurna. The sacred mountain of Mt. Fishtail can be seen beautifully reflected on the Phewa Lake. One of the best places to see the mountains is Sarangkot. Located at an altitude of 1700m, Sarangkot is perhaps the tallest vantage point to see the snow capped Himalayas up close. So,it is only place in the world where one can enjoy the magnificient view of mountains having elevation above 8000 m.

You can also find time to trek to World Peace Stupa located on a hill right across Phewa Lake. It is one of the best hiking route that takes about 2 hours to reach the top. The stupa affords a sweeping view of the Pokhara Valley with shining mountains in the back ground.
